This program is alright, but it is not free. And it is not even a single price. They want to rent it to you for $20 a year. I am sorry, but for a batch audio converter that is not complex and cannot really improve to much year after year, renting is not a vialbe option.

Great Audio Converter
Stand behind the product , not only a very complete converter a lot of options to custom set your music to your liking, vey easy to use the app but if any doubt arise the help files support in their web site are second to none, I run a MBP Apple M3 Pro 18 GB with Tahoe 26.1 and converted my car library to mp3 with new settings in lots of 20 sons at the time totaling 552 sons in very little time, highly recommend
Rip off - upgrade
Upgrade - now requires $$ for same functions I used for years. THat’s just gross
Used to be a great app
Version 1 was great, worked well, had good output quality, and a great batch conversion. The “upgrade” to 2.0 was not asked for, and now it pops up a subscription beg after doing a few batch conversions. Now that it’s updated, there seems to be no way to back to the old version. Boo! Recommend finding a different app.
Amateur effort
The description doesn't mention that the Lite version only works once, then you have to rent it, not even an option to buy it once. The conversion to MP3 works but puts some random TIFF picture in the "preview" of the file that you see in the file icon in Finder. This level of sloppiness doesn't give one confidence in the quality of the app.

Some options don’t work
“Close progress windows after successful conversion” does not close the progress window when the setting is enabled. The progress window stays open and needs to be closed manually. If you’re going to provide a setting, at least make sure the setting actually works! The app also keeps falsely detecting Batch mode and prompting to upgrade, even though only ONE file is selected for opening (NOT “batch” mode). Does not seem to be a very professional app.
WAV files didn't convert to FLAC
Was converted to lower quality file. Can't recommend.

Removed features in latest update
The old "lite" version included batch processing, but that has been removed in the latest update, and even when you use it one file at a time, it constantly prompts you to buy the full version. So sad. I mean, as a retired s/w guy, I understand you've got mouths to feed and all, but, it's time to say goodbye.

Quick reliable solution
Was trying to import Audio CDs with Apple Music and convert to MP3. Aplle music kept failing. Found this prodict and worked flawlessly. Thank you for being able to accomplish this basic feature

if your like me, I have thousands of WMA files in their folders. the paid app converts it all and puts them right into a folder, keeping everything organized.

I love the flexibility and simple interface. Great for converting CDs to FLAC and MP3, and the companion tag editor is worth every penny!
Worked Quickly and Perfectly
Somehow I was under the impression that Apple Music supported FLAC audio files, so that was my format choice for some music I purchased recently. The converter changed the format instantly and sent it to my Apple Music folder automatically. Easy peasy.
Great software
Very fast batch conversion and extremely easy to use. I converted about 1,500 WMA files to MP3 files in a single batch and the software even gave me the option to send the output files to my Apple Music library. The conversion included all of the meta data such as artist, album, genre, etc. Very satisified with this software! Thank you for making it available.
Better than Switch!
I struggled with errors with text file names while using Switch converter, then I found this one. This one works great! No errors or dropped files during large batch conversions! Highly recoomend!
This fixed AAC audio streaming issues
Fixed AAC This fixed AAC audio streaming issues with home movies on Apple 4K that I was having. Oddly, videos that had played just fine in Quicktime, and thus, in the Home Videos section of iTunes streamed to an Apple TV. This all changed when I upgraded to Big Sur, and Apple TV 4K. Now, some of the same home videos had audio with "pops" and "snaps". These same files played fine in VLC, or in mpv. After using To Audio Converter app, to simply convert the audio stream that I exported from Subler, I use the same Subler app to combine the new AAC audio track to replace the old one. Subler then saves the new file almost instantly because Subler only edits the individual tracks of an .MP4. No video conversion takes place. Now all the videos play with flawless sound on TVapp, Apple TV 4K, and though Quicktime. No more snaps, pops, and crackles of an otherwise great movie. Thanks!

Did exactly what I needed it to. I work in Logic Pro and i just needed to convert some 32 bit wavs to 24 bit. Does it speedily, and I'm guessing locally. I'm glad I stumbled upon this app!

DTS Format... Problem Soved
Had sound files in DTS format and Quicktime could not read them and I tried several other converters with no success. This one not only worked beautifully, it was very fast. Problem solved... Thanks!

This program is easy to use and did exactly what I needed it to do. I haven't explored all of the features yet, but what I have used works well.
Quick answer to a frustrating problem
I recently got my first macbook and was unable to listen to listen to meeting minutes and recordings of old classes I’d taught. A minute after downloading this app, it was as easy as drag and drop. Boom. I can listen to everything in original quality.
